Volunteers of the Month-
Three Sisters and their husbands volunteer to make a difference in seniors life. |

Janiece Taffinder, Sam Taffinder, Gaile Swoyer, Mel Swoyer, Carlton Sands and Bill Sands |
Sam and Janiece Taffinder started volunteering in 2010 for Faith in Action. Janiece worked in the office scheduling rides and Sam drove clients to medical appoinments. Working in the office, Janiece saw the need for additional volunteers. She recruited her sisters and brother-in-laws. Janiece's brother-in- law Bill Sands retired and began driving senior clients in July of 2012, he also became a regular office volunteer working answering the phones and scheduling rides each Friday. Bill just joined our Ambassador Council representing his church Palm Valley Lutheran Church. His wife Carlton joined us in November of 2012 as a driver and a substitute office volunteer.
Janiece's sister Gaile Swoyer began driving in August of 2012, she enjoyed driving and recruited her husband Mel in February 2013.
It all started with one Sister spreading the word of this great need. This family has made a huge impact for Faith in Action Senior Access and are our First Volunteer's of the Month!!
